After a decade of IT experience, Rick's passion for helping companies achieve business objectives through technology led to the creation of Aster Group, which Rick founded with partner Brad Fisher in 2002.
Previously, Rick was with Premier Systems Integrators, which was subsequently purchased by Dimension Data. After a successful three years as a Senior Account Executive and Regional Sales Manager as well as a recipient of the Presidents Club Award, Rick was promoted to Vice President of Software Solutions. As VP, Rick oversaw a team of 20 sales executives, technical consultants and application specialists.
Prior experience includes recognition as one of the top sales representative at The Whitlock Group, an honor Rick received while completing his Masters of Business Administration at James Madison University. He holds two bachelors degrees from Liberty University - one in Biblical Studies and the other in Business Management. Among his collegiate leadership roles, he served as President of the Society for Human Resources Management and President of the Graduate Business Association. Rick was also honored with the Outstanding MBA Student award at James Madison University.
Rick lives in Matthews, NC with his wife (ask him how they met) and six children. He is actively involved in his church activities, enjoys woodworking, golf, softball, hiking/camping and racquetball.
As COO of Aster Group, Brad builds upon more than 15 years of experience in both finance and technology. Brad launched Aster Group with partner Rick Cobb to help clients improve their business processes by better accessing and utilizing corporate information.
Prior to the formation of Aster Group, Brad served as Applications Services Director for Premier Systems Integrators, where he worked directly with clients to sell, implement and manage such applications as Lawson, Oracle, Intuitive ERP, OutlookSoft, GrowthPower, Cort, Cognos and SQL. For his skills in business process reengineering and technical consultation, Brad was awarded Project Manager of the Year in 2000. At Plastics Manufacturing, Inc., Brad was Corporate Controller, managing all accounting and financial initiatives, functions and staff.
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Brad is certified in the technical applications of Lawson, Oracle, and Outlooksoft. He received both his undergraduate degree in Accounting and his Masters in Business Administrator at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Brad is married with three sons, is an avid sports fan and an active member of his church and community.
As an accomplished strategist and sales professional, Mark brings over 20 years of business/technology, sales and management experience to his role as Vice President of Sales.
Prior to joining Aster Group, Mark’s vision and expertise contributed to his appointment to Regional Sales Manager for Paaridian Technologies, Inc., an IBM business partner headquartered in Atlanta. In this role, Mark was instrumental in building relationships within the IBM community, establishing a new customer base in the Carolinas and creating a sales organization to capture this new marketplace.
Previously with Premier Systems Integrators, Mark was ranked as one of the top three account executives each year of his five-year tenure, and was twice selected to the President’s Club. He was also consistently ranked top account executive at both McCormick Nunes and Dataprint.
Prior to his entry into the commercial sector, Mark served six years in the US Navy where he worked as an Electronic Warfare Operator in intelligence gathering activities from Aviational Electronics Platforms and developed a training and certification program for the bi-static radar operation for his squadron in Rota, Spain.
Mark is married with six children and is very involved with his church and family activities.
Scott Tegge brings a proven track record in sales leadership and over 20 years experience of successfully serving the office of the CFO in a variety of capacities and industries.
Scott is Western Region Managing Director for Aster Group’s Corporate Performance Management practice, a position he was promoted to in 2005. Scott is responsible for providing value-added services and engagement management for the existing client base, client retention and business development for the Western Region.
Prior to joining Aster Group, Scott was Senior Business Development Manager for BearingPoint, Inc. (formerly KPMG Consulting) where he achieved the Top Performers’ President Club for two years, exceeding 120% of his objectives. Scott was also Executive/Principal for LongView Solutions and spent eight years each as Regional Sales Manager for Hyperion Solutions and District Manager for Automatic Data Processing Corporation.
Scott has a BS in Business/Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hiker and rock climber. Scott lives in Geneva, Illinois with his wife and three children.
